I got a job last July which has taken up most of my time. It's a tiring, physically demanding job that I got through the power of nepotism after finishing a dead end unpaid internship for a tech company. Working upwards of 12 hours a day during busy season is the norm, so both my free time and creative input have been compromised. It pays good though since you do need certain training and certifications, not going into more detail. It's thanks to this money that I am pursuing other real life activities like woodworking and metalworking that I couldn't have gotten into before.
Other that this aforementioned job, I'm also focusing on things which really matter like my social and romantic life, further reducing the time I have to make maps and stuff.
This means that Bro said he knew a spot is my final and most successful map ever, followed only by Climb the Citadel, source files for both of these maps can be found in the downloads page. It's a shame, since there's many stories left untold and maps left unfinished that I would have loved to share with the world, but none of that matters now. I am taking the necessary steps towards growing up and getting my shit together in life, a thing I wish some people would do.
Despite all that, I'm still gladly offering mapping advice and technical support to people who need it. Even if I can't make any more maps, just helping and being a valuable member of the community is enough to make me happy. Meet us over at Lonely's Pretty Decent Mapping Server someday, alright? I made it some months ago and we got people from all over the place, CS2, TF2, gmod, mapbase & hl2, fucking hunt down the freeman, I'm sure we got some from zombie panic source or zombie master, everything you could imagine. Couple hundred of them at the moment but we do mapathons and have fun.
Well guys, I think that's it.
