Why you should keep your success to yourself

Firstly, most people don't care about your success, only your failures. Your friends and parents only want you to succeed and do better in life until you're actually doing better than them, then it becomes a problem. The only exception to this that I can't think of is a rags to riches story sort of like mine, but if people don't know the full context, this first point still applies. I come from nothing, backwoods incest driven maniacs and two dysfunctional parents yet nobody would assume that from just looking at me.

Secondly, people are envious and awful by nature and will try to sabotage you if they feel like you're doing too good, or if they feel like you didn't earn your success. You'll have people whose names you've never heard before trying to spread misinformation or take everything away from you that you worked hard to obtain, because if they can't have it, no one can.

Thirdly, hard work may never pay off. Over the past few years I want to say it did for me, I put in the effort and got rewarded with social, sexual and financial success, but it wasn't always like this. If something doesn't work, regroup and rethink, maybe come back to it later. If it still doesn't work perhaps it was never meant to be.

So ye like keep your stuff to yourself n shit. Nobody needs to know what you're up to. Work in the shadows and never tell anyone your plans or what you're doing.
